Services

Counsel, campaigns and the confidence to speak.

Engagements run from short advisory sprints to campaign leadership and ongoing retained counsel. What follows is the range rather than a fixed menu.

  • Strategic communications and public affairs

Communications strategy aligned to organisational, policy and business objectives. Reputation management, issues preparedness and risk communication. Counsel to executives and boards through organisational change and high profile announcements. Usually retained, or engaged across a defined strategic cycle. The value is in judgement rather than output.

  • Media relations and campaign leadership

National and international campaigns from strategy through to coverage, integrated across print, broadcast, digital, social and owned channels. Established relationships with journalists and media organisations in Australia and internationally. Includes strategic media advice during sensitive and high stakes issues.

  • Strategic storytelling and narrative development

Narratives that connect organisational priorities, stakeholder interests and public impact. Translating research, policy and technical subject matter into content that informs public discussion and supports decisions.

  • Stakeholder engagement and partnerships

Partnership building across government, industry, academia and community. Managing relationships where several institutions hold competing priorities, including bilateral and cross cultural contexts.

  • Multimedia and content direction

Creative concept development and visual storytelling. Directing photography, video and multimedia production, and managing designers, photographers, videographers and creative suppliers from concept through to amplification.

  • Communications capability building

Team leadership, mentoring and capability development. Building newsroom style content capability inside communications teams. Editorial systems, style governance and publishing processes for organisations producing high volumes of specialist content.

Media training

Most interviews are lost before they start.

Technical experts are rarely poor communicators. They are usually unprepared for a format that rewards clarity over completeness, and briefed by someone who has never sat on the other side of the microphone.

Half day

  • Message development built from your own material
  • Interview technique and bridging
  • Two recorded mock interviews with playback
  • Suited to one spokesperson or a small team

Full day

  • Everything in the half day program
  • Studio based simulation for broadcast
  • Hostile and high stakes interview preparation
  • Doorstop and panel practice
  • Written feedback for each participant

Editorial note: publish indicative pricing for the two training tiers, or delete this line.
